Collection Specialist

Working under general supervision, the employee will be responsible for the timely billing and the collection of all delinquent accounts.
1.
Perform outbound collection calls to delinquent accounts.
2.
Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments; establish payment plans; and follow-up.
3.
Produce and distribute reminder and past due notices.
4.
Maintain confidentiality of all customer and company information.
5.
Maintain a positive public relation with all customers and employees.
6.
Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed; 7.
Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers and management; 8.
Performs other duties as required to provide excellent service and teamwork; 9.
Performs other duties clerical, proofreading, special Business projects from time to time as requested by the Director of Operations or as business needs dictates.
10.
Perform other related duties when requested by the Supervisor.
11.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
12.
Establish and adhere to a record of good attendance and punctuality.
13.
Maintain confidentiality of all customer and company information.

High School diploma or general education degree.
Basic skills in typing, 10-key punch and computer skills in Windows and Excel.
