Accounts Payable Specialist

Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided * Casual work attire * On-the-job training * Safe work environment Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval - Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Provide support for audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries - Collaborate with other departments to resolve any payment or invoice issues - Assist with special projects as assigned Skills: - Strong understanding of debits, creditsand collections in accounting - Proficiency in general ledger accounting principles - Experience with payroll systems - Experiance with fixed assets - Knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices - Ability to reconcile general ledger accounts accurately - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
