The Warehouse Manager ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational needs.
He/she performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to, purchasing, receiving, issuing, handling and tracking inventory stock company-wide.
Duties and responsibilities
Procure materials based on inventory levels, upcoming projects
Create, Issue, Maintain, and Organize Purchase Orders
Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems
Develops and implements control procedures
Coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts
Identifies causes of issues and implements process improvements
Maintains good working relationships with suppliers through effective communication
Supervise yard labor employees
Periodically Schedule deliveries of materials to client s jobsite
Maintain Inventory on materials owned by clients
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor s degree
5+ years of experience in inventory control, preferably in the construction industry
Working knowledge of inventory control practices; working knowledge of tools, supplies and equipment used in the construction industry
Must have strong organizational and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task
Track record of developing strong business relations and working effectively across business lines and functional lines at all levels of the organization
Must work successfully under general supervision and possess great time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
