About the Role
As the Program Director for Family and Youth Success (FAYS), you will Shine Hope as you provide strategic oversight of the FAYS Programs/contracts in both Rio Grande Valley and Beaumont, including overseeing and developing Program Manager/Supervisor, NFSN and Universal Child Abuse Prevention programs.
You will maintain compliance to contract as well as fidelity to evidence- based programs used.
you will also ensure documentation is accurate and timely for all contract-related reporting and participate in community wide coalition building and maintain working relationships with area stakeholders and agencies.
What you will do As a member of our team you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities: Analyze program needs for FAYS programs; develop, modify, and implement changes to programs to meet changing needs of clients; demonstrate operational competence in managing resources.
Ensure service quality of FAYS programs in all designated locations are aligned with the state contract and the Buckner brand.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with agencies, stakeholders and other organizations that provide services such as like skills training, employment services, housing, education, and other services to coordinate services for program participants.
Establish MOU's (Memoranda of Understanding) and monitor relationships with agencies, schools, CPS, Juvenile Probations Departments, courts, churches, etc.
Ensure compliance of the FAYS Programs/Contracts as well as fidelity to evidence-based programs used by the programs.
Serve as a liaison to the community; speak in public on behalf of Buckner conducting presentations as needed to address and promote programs through media, social media, and speaking engagements.
Attend meetings, events, etc.
with other service providers as requested.
Develop and maintain outreach and recruitment practices and engage families to receive services and determine family eligibility.
Prepares and monitors budgets to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Completes monthly fiscal management documents such as monthly billing and invoices.
Coordinates Buckner fiscal year budgets with multiple contract period budgets.
Supports local Director of Administration (DAO) by interacting with and developing collaborative relationships with potential donors, media, churches, agencies, and other community groups.
Network with existing Buckner programs and employees to promote FAYS programs.
Develops and implements new special projects and programs based on community needs.
Work with program staff to assess program needs in all assigned program areas; strategize, develop, and implement programs to target those client specific needs.

Minimum 3-5 years prior related experience required or equivalent combination of work experience and education in social services or related field.
Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner's insurance policy.
Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner Shining hope in others.
(Your friendly attitude and willingness to learn is more important than a year's experience!) Preferred Qualifications In addition to the amazing qualifications and experiences listed above, if we had our say, we would also look for: Master's degree preferred.
Experience in assessments and supervision of community-based prevention programs preferred.
