Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to join our team.
As a Assistant Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store and ensuring exceptional customer service.
This is a leadership role that requires strong managerial skills and achieving targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the retail store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
- Train and develop retail staff to deliver excellent customer service
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register operations
- Oversee shift management and scheduling of retail employees
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in retail math, including pricing strategies, profit margins, and sales forecasting
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of training and development techniques to enhance employee performance
- Multilingual skills are a plus
