Position:
We are looking for an experienced Controller Business management professional to execute critical complex operation in our Climate Solutions Business.
This role is key to operationalizing our strategies to support growth, productivity, and optimization of our operations capabilities.
Major Responsibilities: Provides leadership, guidance, and direction to the accounting team within a business unit/group.
Develops and implements internal controls and monitors success to minimize risk.
Partners with business leader(s) to drive business results and strategy.
Provides hiring, promotion, and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.
Manages business unit/group accounting, budgeting, management reporting and analysis, other financial systems and methods within general corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Manages and develops the accounting team driving the close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Develops and implements continuous process improvements.
Manages general accounting function(s) and develops team responsible for the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances, and other financial results for the business unit/group.
Develops processes and controls to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and corporate accounting standards/policies.
Drives consistency in processes, tools, formats, and templates to mitigate risk.
Partners with strategic business unit leaders on the development of operating reviews, annual operating plans, and long-range planning processes.
Implements financial plans and policies for the business unit.
Control and lead initiatives to improve process control in his operations.
Create a work environment to motivate to increase the participation of the people of his or her area on Continues Improvement.
Get support in projects to improve KPIs.
Establish business relationship and partner with leaders and key functional areas to have a thorough understanding of the organization dynamics, strategy, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Establishes and maintains appropriate systems and processes to ensure honest, fair, and ethical work environment, adhering to legal regulations.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors of degree in Finances or equivalent related experience.
Advanced degree preferred (MBA) 5 to 8 years of Finances, accounting, and Cost control.
Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Advanced Problem Solving.
Candidate should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to mentor and coach direct and indirect reports Broad-based business / financial acumen and technical knowledge Strong command of Excel and Databases Strong written communication skills Strong verbal communication skills Strong practical facilitation, and arbitration skills Accounting Certification Preferred (ex.
CPA, ACA).
