Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor to join our team at our Mission, Texas location.
We are interested in candidates looking to work for a company passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The class is scheduled to run Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Applicants must be available during this schedule to be considered for the position.
The Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor’s duties and responsibilities include:
Advancing student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
Assisting in student learning outcomes.
Maintaining current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
Maintaining appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
Facilitating all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor
Grading class assignments and exams.
This role requires the following qualifications:
5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field.
3 years of teaching experience preferred.
Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology, and Medical Math.
Front office experience.
Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
Comfortable with computers and technology.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Current CPR certification.
