Assistant Manager Valley Wide

Job Summary: We are searching for an upbeat, positive, open-minded and driven candidate for our restaurants valley wide.
An Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in the daily business operations of the restaurant.
General tasks include supervising employees, communicating with and helping customers, and carrying out directives given by the Restaurant Manager.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will schedule shifts, balance cash registers, and address customers' complaints or queries in a swift, courteous manner.
To be a successful Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will implement measures to minimize costs and improve profitability, be reliable, and innovative.
An outstanding Assistant Restaurant Manager will also contribute to the professional development and retention of staff.
Duties and Responsibilities: Opening and closing the restaurant.
Interviewing, Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff.
Overseeing restaurant staff performance, ensuring quality dining.
Resolving customer questions and grievances in a professional manner.
Conducting payroll activities in an accurate, timely manner.
Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.
Completed all other duties as assigned.
Job Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
One year previous supervisory experience or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably within a restaurant.
Toast Software is a plus.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Intermediate arithmetic skills.
Strong leadership skills with an affinity for capacity development.
Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
Innovative, trustworthy, and impartial.
