Assistant Director/Teacher

Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities for children - Provide support and guidance to students in their learning and development - Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies - Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment - Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs) - Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress Skills: - Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage classroom activities - Leadership abilities to assist the lead teacher in guiding students and maintaining a positive learning environment - Knowledge of education administration principles and practices to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making - Ability to educate and engage students through creative teaching methods and age-appropriate activities - Proficiency in budgeting to assist with managing classroom resources effectively Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change.
