Job Title: Sales Representative (Wholesale Groceries)
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative for our Wholesale Groceries division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling goods to businesses or groups of individuals, maintaining client relationships, monitoring market conditions, and recommending products based on customer needs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
* Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
* Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
* Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, and delivery dates.
* Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.
* Monitor market conditions and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
* Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
* Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
* Maintain current accounts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Previous experience in sales desired.
* A high school diploma or equivalent.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Working Conditions:
* This is a full-time position.
* The office location is in McAllen.
* The position offers a base salary plus commission after the trial period and evaluation.
