```Job Overview```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Processor to join our team.
As a Mortgage Processor, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying loan applications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and facilitating the loan approval process.
```Responsibilities```
- Review loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Verify borrower information, employment history, credit reports, and financial statements
- Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare loan files for underwriting and submit complete packages for approval
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including TILA, Fair Housing regulations, and FNMA guidelines
- Perform credit analysis and assess borrower's ability to repay the loan
- Coordinate with title companies, appraisers, and other third parties to obtain necessary documentation
- Maintain accurate records of all loan transactions in the mortgage servicing system
- Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers throughout the loan process
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a Mortgage Processor or similar role in a bank or mortgage company
- Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, underwriting guidelines, and loan products
- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and requirements
- Proficient in using mortgage processing software/systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of basic math principles for calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, etc.
