We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Property Manager Bookkeeper to oversee the financial aspects of our property management operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both property management and bookkeeping, ensuring the accurate and efficient financial management of our real estate portfolio.
This role involves handling financial transactions, maintaining records, and collaborating with property management teams to ensure smooth and effective financial operations.
*Responsibilities:* *Financial Management:* - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple properties.
- Process and record security deposits, and other financial transactions.
- Generate and distribute monthly financial reports to property owners or stakeholders.
*Accounts Payable and Receivable:* - Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable - Budgeting and Forecasting Company expenses *Financial Reporting:* - Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide regular financial reports to management, property owners, and stakeholders.
*Bank Reconciliation:* - Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies or irregularities.
- Balance Petty Cash, and Security Deposits Account *Tax Compliance:* - Keep records of property accounts, rental owners and vendors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare and provide necessary financial documents for tax filings.
*Communication and Collaboration:* - Liaise with property management teams, landlords, and tenants to address financial inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial data.
*Software Proficiency:* - Utilize property management and accounting software to streamline financial processes.
*Qualifications:* - Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in property management, accounting is a plus.
- At least 1 – 1+ years of experience in Balancing accounts, bookkeeping, and accounting fields.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
Specially Excell spreadsheets - Proven experience in property management and bookkeeping.
- Strong knowledge of property management software and accounting systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
