The Phone Operator/Scheduler supports our physicians, nurse practitioners, patients and office staff through a variety of tasks related to the patient care management, organization and communication.
Individuals in this role should be competent in the use of computers for email, scheduling, scanning and in the use of electronic health records.
Candidates will have experience multi-tasking in high volume and fast paced environment, while providing quality service to patients and co-workers.
*EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:*
· High school diploma/GED
*EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:*
· 1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role
· Bilingual
· Ability to multi-task while providing exceptional customer service
· Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to manage time efficiently
· Familiar with Microsoft Office
· Familiar with Medical Terminology
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills
· Demonstrates professionalism and quality focus
*RESPONSIBILITIES AND VARIABLE JOB DETAILS:*
· Serves patients by answering phone calls in a timely and efficient manner, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
· Route phone calls to various departments as needed.
· Schedules new patient appointments from referring physician offices.
· Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
· Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Scan pertinent patient information into EMR.
· Assist with confirming patient appointments.
· Other reasonable tasks as required for daily operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.
00 - $15.
00 per hour
