*Shift Lead - DAY SHIFT *

All Leads promoted to this level are considered a Key Holder who can open or close the store.
Shift Leaders run a shift, ensure standards are met, and guests and staff are given leadership.
A shift Lead should have at least 3 months of experience, demonstrate strong leadership, and maintain the highest standards as a Team Member.
*Responsibilities*
* Accountable for duties in the café, including all internal control and employee safety.
* Responsible for supervision of staff, labor control, and cost controls
* Responsible for meeting the brand standards and procedures
* Interacts with crew members, customers, and vendors using “Tropitude”.
Tropitude is our “mojo” and what makes Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different.
It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere
* Delivers “Unparalleled Hospitality” to each customer that visits our café.
* Controls Profit & Loss by following cash handling and security procedures, maintaining
* Interact with customers to ensure all inquiries and complaints are handled promptly
* Implement policies and procedures, follow up with progress, and measure results
* Ensure adherence to Franchise recipes
* Ensure the quality of food and beverage presentation is to Franchise specifications
* Observe portion control and preparation quantities to minimize waste
* Ensure cash controls are in place
* Consult with GM and Area Director for Repairs and Maintenance needs
* Pay for this position is *$10.
25 *per hour, plus tips
*Requirements:*
* Must be 18 years or older
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Must be eligible to work in the United States
* Excellent communication skills
* Leadership Experience (preferred)
* Restaurant Experience (preferred)
