org Program Director ( full-time in Pharr) Job Description: Supports prevention specialists and volunteer involvement with respective programs.
Manages inventory lists and supply orders ensuring sufficient resources are available for prevention efforts.
Conducts team meetings with program staff to reinforce and review program goals and objectives.
Prepares reports in collaboration with personnel and submits reports, including status reports, to the Divisional Director within required timelines.
Support and provide oversight of implementation of media awareness activities in the form of marketing campaigns and social media that serve the target population and collaborate with the Statewide Prevention Media Campaign and other stakeholders to promote a consistent statewide message Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences or equivalent experience Experience working in social services, networking with social service agencies, or working with at risk populations in the community or schools is preferred Ability to travel within program service area, maintain current Texas driver’s, and current liability insurance.
