We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Team.
In this role you will oversee the entire delivery department which includes drivers, helpers, and driver check-in personnel.
You will be responsible for ensuring drivers meet DOT and CMV criteria and oversee company delivery fleet’s maintenance program.
Our Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or minimum of five (5) years related experience.
Our Preferred Qualifications
Ability to obtain Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License
Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Platforms – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email Software.
Strong logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and management skills in directing and coaching others.
Your Responsibilities
Train new Drivers and Driver helpers on Glazer’s Beer and Beverage delivery policies.
Conducts safety meetings and trains staff members on safety issues.
Ensure that all drivers have current and updated DOT/CMV/Medical Card certifications and licenses.
Oversee the daily maintenance of the Roadnet Routing System.
Directs dispatching and routing activities and tracks delivery vehicles.
Schedules all department personnel’s vacations and time off request.
Responsible for the recruiting and hiring of all Drivers and Driver Helpers.
In collaboration with other managers, develops and implements policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for delivery operations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to drive a delivery vehicle up to 10 hours at a time.
Must be able to lift between 40-50 lbs.
