Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing for trial
- Manage and organize case files, including maintaining electronic and physical files
- Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist with document production and discovery requests
- Prepare and file court documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule hearings and depositions
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedent
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness preparation
- Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of legal research tools and databases
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work product
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
