Duties:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research using various resources including Westlaw and other online databases
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and exhibits
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and other legal documents
- Prepare drafts of legal documents
- Assist with document management systems and electronic filing
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in paralegal studies or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Proven experience working as a paralegal or in a similar role, at least 5 years
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using legal research tools such as Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with document management systems and contract management software, KNOWLEDGE OF NEOS NEEDLES IS A PLUS!
