Associate Attorney

Palker Law Firm is searching for an associate to manage a growing storm damage insurance claim docket.
The duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to: * Manage all cases assigned to docket from pre-litigation negotiations to standard litigation responsibilities such as drafting, mediation, depositions, attending hearings, and trial.
* Research case law to analyze precedents or similar cases.
* Establish a professional rapport with all clients.
* Manage all staff assigned to docket.
The requirements for this position include, but are not limited to: * Active license to practice law in the state of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
* Experience negotiating first-party insurance claims.
* Familiarity with Local Rules and adept at researching Local Rules.
* Excellent time management.
* Excellent writing and communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work well independently as well as manage staff.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $132,000.
