Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on commercial real estate transactions
- Draft and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions
- Conduct legal research and analysis on real estate laws and regulations
- Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate agreements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, if necessary
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure successful completion of real estate transactions
- Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an A.
B.
A.
accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law
- Strong knowledge of Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other legal research tools
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to draft and review complex legal documents
- Proficient in conducting legal research and analysis
- Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in handling commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws related to commercial real estate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
