Daycare Teacher

*(THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION ~25-30 HOURS PER WEEK TO START~ MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AFTERNOONS UNTIL 7 PM.
)* The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that children are well fed, safe, and loving their time in our daycare center.
We are a 4-Star Texas Rising Star facility.
As such, we have high standards for who works with our amazing children.
We're looking for a person who enjoys working with children, that respects their unique personalities and provide a nurturing environment, have a vibrant and energetic personality, good communication skills and patience.
Responsibilities: * Provide care as a floater for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
* Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning * Help children develop social skills and learn to make good decisions.
* Implement lesson plans, activities, follows daily schedule.
* Maintain a welcoming, safe, and clean environment which includes cleaning classrooms and equipment and disinfecting toys.
* Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Qualifications: * At least 18 years of age * High School Diploma/GED required.
* CPR and First Aid Certification or willing or obtain within 1 week * Food Handler Certification or willing or obtain within 1 week * Cleared background check and fingerprints * Preferred prior experience working with young children Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7 am- 7 pm.
Shifts are between 4-8 hours and flexible.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $10.
