Hotel Housekeeper
Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces in the hotel
- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens
- Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow established hotel procedures for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and address any concerns or requests promptly
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts as required
Skills:
- Custodial: Proficient in cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and use of cleaning equipment.
- Hospitality: Familiarity with the expectations and standards of the hospitality industry.
- Housekeeping Management: Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, scheduling, and quality control.
- Clean: Ability to maintain cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas.
- Hotel: Understanding of hotel operations, guest services, and safety protocols.
- Industrial Cleaning: Experience with deep cleaning methods for carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces.
- Floor Care: Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing.
