Montessori Teacher

We are seeking a Part-Time Montessori Teacher to join our organization! The individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities: * Instruct/care for children (2 months-12 years of age) and engage in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth * Create a fun and safe learning environment * Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest and playtime * Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents * Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress * Maintain the health and safety of all students Qualifications: * Must be 18 years of age or older * Must possess a High School Diploma or GED (CDA Credential is preferred) * Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields * Passionate about working with children * Ability to build rapport with children * Positive and patient demeanor * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish * The ability to lift up to 40 lbs * Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and stoop * Currently have or able to obtain a TB Test within 3 days of starting day * Currently certified or able to obtain their CPR Certification * Currently have Food Handler certification or ability to obtain one * Pass a Criminal History background check * Must be able to work a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday 6:30 a.

* Must have a clean driving record * Ability to drive a 13-passenger van to transport children to and from school and or home Interested candidates should come by our center, ring the bell & fill out an application.
