Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote learning and development
- Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues using positive behavior management techniques
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, such as nannying, caregiving, or babysitting
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage a classroom of students and maintain a positive learning environment
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to meet the needs of individual children
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
