JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Responsible for providing direct assistance the Director of Grants and Development and for general administration duties of the Weslaco branch to ensure a smooth flow of information, data, and documents within the organization.
Assistance shall be provided efficiently and expeditiously and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Responsible for general administrative duties, including, but not limited to answering telephones, assisting walk-in customers and providing general program information to interested parties.
Responsible for assisting customers with and/or entering their information into the client portal for AHSTI and all external assistance programs.
Responsible for taking payments, answering loan servicing questions and updating notes into FICS.
Responsible for the daily report for the Weslaco branch.
Responsible for assigning and tracking Weslaco Boardroom appointments.
Assist with grant file and policies management.
Assist with the compilation of data from FICS for closed projects.
Assist in the review of Federal Home Loan Bank files.
Assist in the compilation and review of the Urban County Program National Stabilization Program Income report.
Assist in the preparation of grant reports by compiling data from FICS.
Responsible for the accounting duties for the rental assistance programs, including but not limited to invoices, tenant batch requests and MIP report.
Responsible for processing rental assistance packets for all programs.
Responsible for auditing rental applications for all programs.
Responsible for correcting deficiencies for all rental assistance programs.
Provides application status to applicants as needed.
Updates beneficiary demographics report for rental assistance programs.
Assist with marketing events, as needed.
Assist other departments to carry out programs and services, as needed.
Assist in developing and implementing projects to meet organizational goals and production.
Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of the organization, including Saturday rotations, and is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours each week.
Travel Occasional travel outside of area related to training may be required of this position.
Required Education / Certification and Experience High School Diploma from an accredited high school required.
Minimum of two years’ experience in the area of mortgage loan origination, processing and closing or Accounting experience and/or social service program experience is preferred.
Relevant Licenses/Certifications None Required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Fluent in Spanish language in both written and verbal styles.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance None.
