*Job Type:* Part-time clinic positions available *Job Description: *As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Milestones, you will play a pivotal role in helping children with complex medical needs and disabilities develop essential life skills and improve their sensory processing abilities.

*Key Responsibilities:* 1.
*Comprehensive Assessments:* Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients with significant neurodevelopmental and sensory impairments to identify functional limitations, goals, and treatment needs.
2.
*Customized Treatment Plans:* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, fine motor activities, sensory processing techniques, and adaptive equipment to improve the child's functional abilities and quality of life.
3.
*Patient and Family Education:* Provide education to patients and their families about the treatment process, exercises, and home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care.
4.
*Collaboration:* Work closely with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
5.
*Documentation:* Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, progress reports, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
6.
*Continuous Evaluation:* Regularly assess treatment outcomes, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and participate in team meetings to discuss progress and make necessary modifications.

*Equipment Recommendations:* Identify and recommend adaptive equipment or assistive devices that can enhance the patient's quality of life.

*Safety and Ethics:* Adhere to the highest ethical and safety standards in patient care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
*Qualifications:* * Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
* Passion for working with children with complex medical needs, including those with profound neurological impairments and autism.
* Prior experience working with pediatric populations (Clinical fieldwork will be considered).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
