POSITION SUMMARY:
Exercise executive management responsibility over functions relating to the financial reporting and consolidation of all entities related to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance, LTD and RGV Med, LLC.
Will support and assist the Chief Executive Officer, executive leadership, and the governing board of directors in the enhancement and development of periodic consolidated financial statements, separate financial reports for non hospital entites and other duties as assigned.
Responsbile for consolidated audit and tax return filings.
POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
An undergraduate degree is required.
A graduate degree in accounting is preferred.
CPA preferred.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
Must be a financially oriented hospital finance executive with extensive experience in financial reporting for health care entities, including but not limited to hospitals, clinics, real estate holding companies and others.
Preferably, experience will have been gained in a for-profit, investor-owned environment.
The DHR Health System Chief Financial Officer should possess a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience with an established track record of success.
The Chief Financial Officer must have the ability to function effectively in a decentralized environment where resources are limited.
This individual must be computer literate and data-driven.
The incumbent must be an outstanding leader, communicator, and fit well with the culture of the organization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Directs and coordinate DHR Health System financial accounting, consolidations , audit and tax returns:
-Work closely with DHR Controllers to ensure the financial integrity of the financial statements
-Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financials statements
-Ensure timely preparation of non-hospital related entity financial statements including but not limited to physician clinic financials, Real Estate , Hospice and other affiliated entity financials.
-Ensure timely completion of annual audit and tax returns.
-Prepares financial analysis for Finance Committee and Board of Managers.
-Responsible for accounting for all partnership transactions as well as adherence to partnership documents and state requirements regarding the purchase, sell and transfer of partnership units as well as membership requirements and sponsorship requirements as applicable
