We are seeking an organized and efficient Accounting Clerk, with experience in Quickbooks, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables as well as an eye for detail and accuracy to join our team.
This position is entry to mid level with room for growth and learning.
Essential functions: - Provide accounting and clerical support.
- Assist with the data entry of accounts receivable and payable invoices.
- Assist with job costing entries and reconcilations.
- Assist accounting with special projects.
- Assist with general office filing.
- Assist with reconciling credit card transactions.
- Processing of bank deposits, retrieval and processing of incoming mail.
- Assist with general office duties including making copies, scanning documents, faxing and mailing.
- Assist with monthly reconciliations.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Bookkeeping and general accounting.
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Operating data terminals calculators and other standard equipment.
- Performing clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing mail.
- Invoicing and reconciliation for varying departments.
- Maintaining and promoting excellent vendors relations.
- Assembling, sorting and tabulating codes and filing data.
- Verifying claims, processing orders and deposit slips.
- Taxes knowledge, budgets, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, excel, microsoft, quickbooks.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, processes and terminology.
- Ability to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and find percentages.
- Ability to work independently and work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to work with employees, business partners and customers in a friendly and positive manner.
- Ability to visualize, articulate, solve complex problems & concepts.
Make decisions based on available information.
- Ability to use judgement and discretion.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to use a computer and knowledge of standard and specific business applications, such as computerized accounting email, electronic spreadsheet development, database, and word processing, ability to learn new software applications.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $12.
