*Getting Money In / Customer Balances *
* Reconcile AR and intercompany AR accounts monthly and create/update ongoing reports to management.
* Responsible for the accuracy, tracking and messaging to customers regarding their balance(s) due.
* Minimize bad debt exposure, maintain aging at an acceptable level and bring late accounts up to current status.
* Educate customers on keeping their accounts current and facilitate company billing to customer.
* Research delinquent accounts and determine reasons for overdue payments and negotiate resolutions within Company guidelines.
* Challenges the status quo of the collection and invoicing process to provide a satisfactory experience to our customers every time.
* Customer Set Up & Credit analysis Review.
*Bank Reconciliations *
* Completes monthly reconciliations of our bank accounts, along with research and timely follow through of unreconciled items.
* Analyzes and records all appropriate adjustments and provides timely education/training where errors occurred.
*Controls *
* Responsible for accurate, responsive preparation and reporting of financial and accounting information for the company.
* Adhere to appropriate accounting practices, principles, and internal controls.
* Responsible for maintaining proper segregation of duties for areas of oversight.
* Ensures daily bank deposits are reconciled timely and accurately.
* Ensures revenue and payments are recorded accurately and in a timely manner during the billing Cycle.
*REQUIREMENTS*
* Experience in accounting and customer service.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable role.
* Prior experience in Great Plains and QuickBooks, and Excel preferred.
* Ability to prioritize deadlines and strong attention to detail.
* English/Spanish.
* BBS /Accounting or Equivalent required; 4-year degree preferred.
* MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Self-starter, strong initiative and able to work with limited supervision
