On a charming small street just above downtown traffic, it is a six-minute walk from callejón Huertas to the Jardin and the heart of town.
The two-story Main House contains the peaceful Queen Master Bedroom and its generous bathroom, a private garden, an (English) library/art studio and a spacious eat-in kitchen with an outdoor dining patio beneath a vast Jacaranda tree.
Upstairs is the spectacular loft-like Living Room with a vast bóveda ceiling and two flowering terraces for entertaining and sunset views.
The indoor and the outside dining areas are served by a Mexican-tiled kitchen and another full bathroom.
There are additional sleeping possibilities on the two futon sofas.
Housecare, utilities, washing machine, Internet service, and cable tv are included.
Casa Romantica is cared for by an English-speaking gardener/handyman for maintenance and by a wonderful housekeeper and fine cook who five days per week will take care of your laundry, cleaning, shopping (and for a small gratuity delicious cooking).
Renting $2,000 month from January 25 through March 7.
