Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Laborer to join our team at D&J Site Construction LLC.
The ideal candidate must possess physical strength, stamina, and the ability to perform a variety of manual tasks.
The Laborer will be responsible for assisting various departments within the company, ensuring efficient operation and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general physical labor tasks, including but not limited to digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment as required.
- Assist with construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with established safety protocols.
- Operate machinery or tools under supervision.
- Load, unload, and transport materials between different job sites or locations.
- Follow instructions from superiors and contribute to achieving team goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist skilled and semi-skilled workers as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, or cleaning tasks.
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labor.
- Demonstrated ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery.
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field is advantageous.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team setting.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and safely.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and challenging environments.
- Stamina and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Safe use of basic hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and occasional overtime based on project demands.
