ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design, Create, Modify, and Validate Automated Equipment Integration to meet Processes Specification
Create and Maintain Equipment forms and documentation.
This includes Electromechanics Design, Schematics, Software, and Operation & Maintenance Manual.
Develop and Present Technical Assembly Equipment Design Review materials to the group during the program development phases.
This is based on standards or R&D items being reviewed.
Conduct feasibility studies on new Designs for Production Automated Equipment Robustness.
Robotics Electromechanics and Software Expertise.
Experience with machining and GD&T Knowledge.
Supports cross-functional groups in the development and implementation of automated systems in support of manufacturing.
Attend program meetings to report Equipment program status, issues, and proposed solutions.
OTHER DUTIES
Provide Mechanical Drawings and Electrical Schematics and review with suppliers to complete Equipment setup for the desired process.
Test Automation Software Function and review for improvements in Cost and Machine Times.
Perform mechanical assembly and electrical circuit analysis of Alps Alpine products to determine the cause of failure and improvements.
Automotive CORE Tools understanding.
Perform other related duties as required.
Work with suppliers regarding sourcing, follow-up, and technology information.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Software Engineering, or approved equivalent
7 years of experience in the Automotive Industry
Experience in software programming for PLC and PLCC Equipment, IOT, or other devices for data collection
Robotics Automation Experience with Mitsubishi, Kawasaki, IAI, Albots, Dobot or equivalent
Experience with Keyence and Cognex Visions systems or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Automation and Manufacturing Safety
Analytical and problem-solving skills
